The Rockingham County portion of the Dan River Valley is easy going with many " action spots". It is great for the beginner,  great for anyone who wants to relax in peace and quiet, and great getaway for anywhere between a couple of hours to all day.

               Dan River Campground provides the equipment and  transportation for agreat outing. Just add YOU, food and drinks.

               Tubing trips last three to five hours depending on the water level. Bring sunscreen, water shoes and drinks. Be ready for a relaxing adventure.

               Canoe/kayaking trips  are available for 2,3,4,5,6 or 7 hour trips. Paddles, life vests, boat and transportation are provided.

               The Dan River in Rockingham County is always high enough so that you can float at all times, unlike areas further north. Call for our reasonable rates.
